Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day, but for the Gommel's it was a very lucky day as Logan Patricia and Evelyn Susan were born. Proud parents Will and Jaci spent the day at the hospital...Jaci doing the heavy lifting considering that Logan weighed 6 lb. 11 oz. and Evelyn 7 lb. 2 oz. for a total of 13 lb. 13 oz. on Friday the 13th!
It's been over a week and things are progressing. The girls are teaching Jaci and Will how to be Mom and Dad! It might take some effort but the girls seem up to it!
Jaci and Will agreed to let me try my hand at newborn photography. I've done infant and children's portraits but not a whole lot of newborn. So the girls cooperated in allowing me to venture into this area. Thanks to all involved including my niece Jennifer from Jennifer Struke Photography and my daughter Meg and granddaughter Charlotte for helping with the baby wrangling! Here are the images we created.
